<p>But I did go to WW for the first time since the first week of January. And believe it or not, I have only gained .7 lbs since then.</p>
<p>I wasn’t going to post my actual weight on here but I’m now throwing caution to the wind. If I’m embarrassed about my weight then I better damn change it.</p>
<p>Here’s the weight info:</p>
<ul>
<li>When I met Lois, I weighed around 135 lbs. At 5’7”, that was fairly lean.</li>
<li>After law school and life, I weighed in at my very first WW meeting back in May 2007 at 205 lbs.</li>
<li>That is a gain of 70 lbs people!!!!</li>
<li>Poor Lois. When I met her, I was all cute and skinny. Then I pulled the whole “bait and switch” thing.</li>
<li>My goal weight for WW is <strong>155</strong>. I don’t think I will ever be 135 again.</li>
<li>As of yesterday, I am <strong>187.2</strong> lbs.</li>
<li>I have gained 5 lbs since my prior WW loss, but I’m still down about 18 lbs from where I started.</li>
<li>My 10% goal right now is to lose 18 lbs-19 lbs. This fits in well with my “lose 20 lbs in 8 weeks” goal. Again, I know it’s lofty, but since I have lost all of January, February and March, I need to kick it up into full gear now.</li>
<li>Losing 10% gets me into the 160s. That is a great start.</li>
</ul>
<p>Even with looking at all these numbers, I am keeping the “5 lbs at a time” mantra in my head so I don’t get too overwhelmed.</p>
<p>So, I did go over my points, but I am very glad I went to the WW meeting and I am tracking. I was down to 6 points when I got home for dinner.</p>
<p>Lois made pulled pork and mashed potatoes and our friend Suz was baking cupcakes in our kitchen. Ugh. I rationalized having some of everything because it was a weigh-in day and I’d already been weighed in! LOL!!!</p>
<p><strong>Exercise:</strong></p>
<p>Nothing on Day 6 but I will be reporting more progress in tomorrow’s post.</p>
<p>Plus, I am seriously considering signing up for the “moonlight” run 5k on June 6th. I might wait a few more weeks before I waste my $13 entry fee, but I really think this might be a good motivation for me.</p>

<p>In all fairness, at last week&#8217;s weigh in it was my most bloated, PMS-ey day of the month, which is probably 3 lbs right there.</p>
<p>So, now I need to think of my goal weight. I&#8217;m 5&#8242;7&#8243; and the booklet shows my ideal weight as between 128-160. Well, I have not been 128 since freshman year of college. I was probably 137 pre-law school, but I am now 185 lbs and I can&#8217;t even imagine being under 150 at this point.</p>
<p>I think I&#8217;m going to shoot for 155. It&#8217;s 30 more lbs. Totally managable, right?</p>
<p>It just seems like such a big amount to lose.</p>
<p>For now, I&#8217;m going to enjoy the 20 lbs down and not think about how much is left on my journey!</p>

<p>I am in <strong><em>LOVE</em></strong> with the Fiber One bars. The oat and chocolate ones are my new little treat! Yummy!</p>

<p>Weight watchers bread (2 slices), Sante Fe sliced turkey (it&#8217;s a little spicier than sausalito), muenster cheese ( 1 slice), my non-fat sour cream and fresh salsa mixture, alfalfa sprouts, lettuce and tomato.</p>
<p>I have to figure out how many points it is, but with my side of sliced cucumbers, I think I&#8217;m doing pretty well.</p>
<p>I also just turned down the bag of Ruffles in the break room. I love Ruffles. But cucumbers are better, dammit.</p>

<p>Lately, I&#8217;ve been working on finding ways to have my mexican.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s the scoop&#8230;</p>
<p>I get the <strong>HUGE</strong> thing of fresh salsa at Costco and put it on as much as possible. (Pretty much zero points!)</p>
<p>I discovered that 90% lean ground beef is around the same as the same amount of ground turkey.</p>
<p>Lois bought (by mistake actually), these small Low Carb flour tortillas and they are 1 point each and in my opinion, much better than the whole wheat tortillas. (Although, you can get a much bigger whole wheat tortilla for 1 point each).</p>
<p>AND, my wife brought me home some wonderful, slightly overripe avocados this week. I am in hog heaven.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s my meal:</p>
<p>2 low-carb flour tortillas = 2 points</p>
<p>lean ground beef = 4 points</p>
<p><em>small amount of </em>shredded cheddar cheese (use 50% low fat when it&#8217;s in the house) = 1 point</p>
<p>non-fat sour cream = 0 points (This is usually much better tasting when mixed with salsa)</p>
<p>mashed up small avocado mixed with fresh salsa = 2 points</p>
<p>onions, tomatoes and lettuce = 0 points</p>
<p>Total: 9 points! </p>
<p>Even if I am off in my points tally, it&#8217;s not more than 10 or 11 total.</p>
<p>This is what I had for dinner last night. And after a Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich for dessert, I still had 4 points left.</p>
<p>Tonight is our &#8220;trailer trash&#8221; fireworks party and tomorrow is a BBQ. This will be tough, but I will show up with my turkey sausage and my veggies, ready to grill!</p>
<p>If I&#8217;m really on top of things and get out of work early tonight, I might make some kabobs!! Yummy!</p>

<p>Saturday night at the club, I decided to forego my usual fried calamari and fettucini. Instead, I got an appetizer that consisted of 2 oysters, 2 clams and some crab legs. Then, I had the halibut for dinner and no, it was not stuffed.</p>
<p> Yesterday was a &#8220;decent&#8221; day. I did, however, have 2 dinners.</p>
<p>Fiber One (Honey Clusters) cereal = 3</p>
<p>WW granola bar = 2</p>
<p>WW raspberry yogurt = 1</p>
<p>spinach salad = 5</p>
<p>Large iced coffee with skim and splenda = 1</p>
<p>WW TV dinner &#8211; Chicken Marsala = 4</p>
<p>Grilled zucchini and corn = 1</p>
<p>Stuffed sole = 7</p>
<p>Total: 24 points (my Target = 25)</p>

<p>My current goals:</p>
<p>A. Drink More Water</p>
<p>B. Activity</p>
<p>I know it won&#8217;t burn a lot of calories, but I&#8217;m going to hit the lake in the kayak tonight. I feel like I have a lot going on in my head right now and being down isn&#8217;t going to help me. Maybe some time on the water will help me out a little.</p>

<p>My newest <em>finds</em></p>
<p><strong>Kiashi Go Lean Crunch &#8211; Honey Almond Flax</strong></p>
<p>It seems to be a lot of points (4 or 5) but it&#8217;s very yummy. It tasts like Honey Smacks. Remember those?</p>
<p><strong>Oreo Thin Crisps &#8211; 100 Calorie packs</strong></p>
<p>These are good. I really want to try these other 100 calorie snack packs: Lorna Doone, Planters peanut butter cookie crisps, Ritz snack mix, Cheese Nip crisps and I REALLY want to try the Nutter Butter Granola Bars.</p>
